Karate

At Lynbrook's Ultimate Martial Arts and Fitness we study the Shotokan style of karate. Our students learn the 3 technical elements- kihon (basics), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring) balanced with the lessons of respect and character development that are the foundation of Shotokan philosophy.

Students can join our program from as young as 3 years old. Classes are designed to effectively teach and meet the needs of each student according to age and skill level. 


Kickboxing

Our kickboxing classes will give you the workout that will tone and condition your body and burn fat fast! Combining elements of muay thai, boxing and karate, kickboxing gets you in shape while teaching you elements of self - defense. Our students are amazed by how quickly our kickboxing classes transform their bodies. 

We offer both Contact Kickboxing & Cardio Kickboxing classes! Pick which one is best for you, and we'll get you started in our ultimate program!


Self-Defense

The skills taught in Krav Maga are used to end incoming attacks as quickly as possible in defense against the attacker or even weapons such as sticks, knives, or even guns. Instructors teach under the assumption that the situation causes the victim to only be able to rely on themselves and their skills/body. That’s why the techniques are designed to be practical and useful to anyone despite their size or age.

Krav Maga will teach you basic stances and techniques for falling and getting up safely as well as defenses such as chokes and headlocks. Important strategies include focusing on vulnerable areas of the attacker such as eyes, throat, and groin, or using continuous combat to overwhelm your attacker. Fitness Bootcamp

We are confident that our boot camp classes will meet or exceed your fitness goals. We offer classes for “women only” as well classes that are mixed. The exercises are engineered to maximize your cardio workout while targeting muscle performance. Our diverse classes include elements of TRX, resistance training, weights, circuit training, kickboxing.

Fitness bootcamps are designed to build strength, muscle, and endurance. Boot camps are usually based on teamwork and promote team effort, sometimes with games and exercises involving teams.

We offer a variety of different classes throughout the week: 

H.I.I.T., Abs & Bags, and Circuit Training!
